Welcome

Families!

“There is no school equal to a decent home and no teacher equal to a virtuous parent.”

Practice Practice Practice!

Reading with your child is one of the most important ways to help him/her succeed in reading fluency and comprehension.  Reading with children shouldn't end in elementary school.  Quality time spent with a book will present endless opportunities to discuss important topics with your child. This will also allow you to see firsthand what your child's strengths and weaknesses are in the area of reading.

We'd never expect our students to excel at basketball without putting in extra time in the gym, and we wouldn't expect great musicians without countless hours rehearsing.  The same is true for reading.  The more a child reads, the better they will become.
